The idea of mounting a scale fixed to the rudder already existed. What is new about the precision setting gauge, however, is that it is adapted exactly to the wing profile of the plane. This means that the setting gauge sits exactly in the same place for every measurement and immediately shows the correct measured value precisely. The precision setting gauge is manufactured using the latest laser technology and the precision laser used engraves the measuring scale filigree into the plastic. The transparent acrylic glass® also makes it possible to take an even more accurate bearing over the rudder end bar.
